hey handsome, gotta beat the giants on sunday ;)
You know, i think people should just celebrate because their team won instead of celebrating because the other team lost.
Defending Super Bowl Champions…
15-1, mostly in dominant fashion…
#1 seed in NFC…
Aaron Rodgers with one of the greatest seasons by a QB in NFL history…
But they are going home.
Doubt VERY seriously that their players are content with a 15 win regular season, and all of the sudden, that MVP Aaron Rodgers will MOST LIKELY win, suddenly doesn’t seem so important.
This is so true…. I guess every fan will be disappointed today, maybe tomorrow, but one bad game can’t overshadow a whole spectacular season. Packers are amazing. Fuck the haters.
It’s just too easy to be a football fan when your team is winning. That’s why i admire those fans who support their teams after losing an important game, instead of just complaining about it.
First off, i know it’s too long, but please don’t start reading unless you intend to read everything. Otherwise i might end up sounding like a stupid hater. And i’m not. Gotta love the packers no matter what.
Disappointing.
That’s the word that perfectly describes today’s game. I won’t get over it, and i don’t think any GB fan will. And i don’t think any GB fan should.
To begin with, they didn’t play well. They were NOT the number ones tonight. And they deserved to lose, in my opinion.
Why?
Simple.
Basically, because of two reasons.
Firstly, Eli Manning played amazingly tonight. Noes, i don’t think he’s a good QB. Not bad, better than Sanchez for sure, but not good. Could never beat Rodgers, i mean. After that hail mary right before the end of the 1st half, i was sure that Packers would lose. Because Manning was playing just too well. Lucky day? Maybe. I don’t think he had a championship season, but i’m sure he made it up to the team tonight. So, yea, Eli Manning was one of the reasons.
Also, because the packers didn’t play as a team. They tried, but tonight something went wrong, and it just didnt work. Rodgers did almost everything by himself. The receivers were dropping all the time and i couldn’t see a single successful Rodgers-style back shoulder pass. They didn’t have as many rushing yards as they needed and by the way, Rodgers is not a running back! Still, he did a great job as a running back, rushing more yards than Starks (who was GB best player tonight in my opinion). There were too many fumbles and turnovers in general and i think that maybe the team was a little too nervous. And i couldn’t see the amazing Rodgers-Nelson connection - that was one of the best QB-WR connections this season - doing a good job. They didn’t look like the Packers that we love, and they didn’t deserve to win.
It’s a shame, of course. They shouldn’t have let this kinda thing happen after a 15-1 season. Specially against a team that made it to the playoffs almost bleeding and doesn’t have a spectacular offence. 37 points is too much.
Yea, NYG played way too well, and GB didn’t. And it might sound absolutely obvious, ‘noshit’, ‘you don’t say’, whatever, but that’s why they lost tonight.
Still, i don’t think fans should let this game overshadow the whole spectacular season. GB have an AMAZING team. Rodgers, Nelson, Jennings,Thor (Matthews), Flynn, and so many other awesome players…. And i think this kind of team makes the whole staying-awake-till-3am-to-watch-NFL thing worth it.
So, in my opinion, Aaron Rodgers should be the mvp this season. He is my mvp. Numbers will show you why. Well, why not Brady or Brees then? Yeah, good question. But i think that the ones who watched every single GB game this season should be able to understand it. Rodgers’ got good numbers, and thats a lot, but thats not everything. He plays a beautiful game. Yea, beautiful, that’s the word. The kind that makes you wanna see it again. Like 1st possession, 8/8 70 passing yards and 1 TD. The team didn’t cooperate, and he couldn’t play that well tonight, unfortunately. But it happens.
Still….
Aaron Rodgers, #1 QB, thank you for the amazing season.
I’m gonna try and make these. Here is a link to how you do it. Not exactly healthy but look at how cute they are. You can do them with any sports team, really.
haha awesome!!
